Read More » At 06:00 on April 18, the Malaysian Meteorological Department issued a Significant Meteorological (SIGMET) warning after a series of volcano eruptions of Mount Ruang in Indonesia began on April 16. Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and AirAsia have cancelled flights to nine airports in Borneo until today, at the earliest, they said. The destinations are: Kota Kinabalu, Tawau, Sandakan, Labuan, Miri, Sibu, Bintulu, Kuching and Brunei.
