Traffic figures released by China's three major airline groups this week pointed to diverging market trends as the sector navigates a path through the coronavirus pandemic.
With the number of new COVID-19 cases low and community transmissions all but eliminated on the Mainland, Chinese citizens have returned to the skies. Airlines have responded by adding more domestic seats and flights, offering cheap deals and restoring suspended routes.
