AirAsia Malaysia restores Kuala Lumpur-Yangon service

AirAsia Malaysia has resumed nonstop flights between Kuala Lumpur and Yangon after a two-year absence adding another destination to its international network as travel restrictions ease. Read More » The LCC has scheduled two flights a week on the route, which AirAsia Malaysia CEO, Riad Asmat, said was one of the airline's most popular ASEAN services.“AirAsia has been connecting local and international travellers to Myanmar since 2018. It was one of our most sought after destinations until the pandemic outbreak,” Asmat said. “As travel restrictions gradually ease and normalcy slowly returns, we look forward to again connecting guests to Yangon and beyond.”
