U.S. NTSB team headed to southern China to support China Eastern Airlines crash probe

The U.S. National Transport Safety Board (NTSB) has announced a team of investigators is travelling to southern China to support the investigation into the crash of China Eastern Airlines (CEA) flight MU5735. Read More » "Investigators will limit interactions with those outside of the investigation with safety protocols similar to those applied during the Beijing Winter Olympics. The U.S. team will begin work immediately without quarantine," the NSTB said in a Twitter post. Flight MU5735, operated by 737-800 registration B-1791, crashed on March 21 while flying from Kunming to Guangzhou. There were no survivors among the 123 passengers and nine crew.
