Engine manufacturer, Safran, said its first half earnings were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, with the company reporting a net profit of 269 million euros (US$319 million) for the six months to June 30, a decline of 46% from a net profit of 501 million euros in the same months in 2020.

China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC) has completed a US$155 million capital raising through the issuance of super short-term debentures that carry a term of 270 days and a coupon rate of 3.98%.
