Orhan is responsible for 13 Asian regions, including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan and Singapore. He joined Emirates as a management trainee in 1998 and has held senior roles at the Gulf market leader in India, Iran, Nepal, South Africa, Tanzania and the U.S. as well as the Middle East.
Canadian LCC boss moves to Etihad Aviation Group
Duncan Bureau, most recently president of Air Canada’s LCC, Air Canada Rouge, is the new senior vice president global sales and distribution at the Etihad Aviation Group.
In a 25-year career in aviation, Bureau has held the roles of vice president sales and airline partnerships at Westjet, Malaysia Airlines’ senior vice president global sales and distribution and Air Canada vice president global sales for four years. He was appointed Air Canada Rouge president in 2018.
