Orient Aviation’s Week in the Asia-Pacific

The focus in Asia-Pacific commercial aviation was on Guangzhou this week, where organizers of the 24th annual World Routes conference said more than 3,000 delegates from more than 300 airlines and 700 airports gathered to discuss slots and route launches.
In Doha, Qatar Airways Group reported a US$69 million full-year net loss, THAI said it would revise its wide body order plan, AZAL wants to fly to Tokyo, Seoul and Bangkok, Hong Kong Airlines and Brussels Airlines are terminating loss-making Europe-Asia routes and oneworld has appointed Qantas’ Alan Joyce as new board chairman.

Qatar Airways reports US$69 million full-year net loss
